Vitalija Monkienė comes from a family where weaving flows in their blood. She makes traditional Lithuanian woven belts and gloves. She also crochets. Vitalija learned her craft from her mother and sister and continues to pass on her knowledge, techniques, and traditional Baltic and Lithuanian patterns to her children. She’s a member of the Lithuanian Folk Art Institute. Participated in numerous exhibits and festivals. In 2017, she held the title of Creator of the Jagiellonian Fair.
