He learned how to braid from his father and grandfather. His home town is Zdzisławice, next to Kocudza, home to the famous  ensemble “Jarzębina”. In addition to being a superb dancer, he is familiar with all types of polka and obereks from his area. He is part of the “Janowiacy” Ensemble. He received the “Artist of The Jagiellonian Fair” award in 2013.
