Workshops | White tulle embroidery | Paulina Młynarczak | age 18+ | REGISTRATION
Bamber embroidery is a type of white embroidery used to decorate bonnets, ruffs, shoulder shawls, aprons, and handkerchiefs held in the hand – elements of the traditional clothing of the Bambers community. Floral motifs dominated these designs, and embroiderers used several different stitches to create them.
During the workshop led by Paulina Młynarczak, participants will learn the basics of creating white embroidery on tulle and use this technique to recreate a pattern inspired by Bambers’ traditions.
