Elżbieta Klimczak has been specialising in pottery since she was 10. Her father, Stefan Sowiński, introduced her to the craft. It’s a family tradition that dates back at least to the generation of her great-grandfather.  Elżbieta makes utensils, including double jugs, borscht jugs, milk or cucumber jugs but also less frequent clay sculptures, including madonnas, chapels, nativity scenes, or angels. Elżbieta also makes whistles and other toys for children. Her work has brought her awards in Kielce and Toruń, among others.
