Talk | On the Migrant Trail | Joanna Skowrońska

The meeting with Joanna Skowrońska will focus on Polish migrants from Galicia who lived in Bosnia and Croatia for several generations before relocating to the Lower Silesia region near Bolesławiec after 1946. Through maps, recordings, photographs, and personal stories, we will delve into their fascinating world of songs, music, and dances. We will discover how this unique tradition, born at the crossroads of Balkan and Polish cultures, continues to thrive today.
