Roman Malko has been interested in painting, sculpting, and ceramics since he was a child. He studied at an art school. As a student, he got interested in icon writing. At first, he focused on classic icons and later turned towards folk, village styles. Currently, he paints on glass and wooden boards. He tries not to depart from traditional techniques and styles, but at the same time allows himself to experiment.
