Marian Pasek is a master of traditional weaving, working primarily with rye straw and pine roots.

This craft is a deep-rooted family legacy from the Firlej region; both his father and grandfather were skilled at creating durable containers from these natural materials. Growing up, Marian observed their techniques firsthand, and over 20 years ago, he returned to these roots to revive the family tradition.

Today, Marian crafts a wide range of both functional household items and decorative pieces. Beyond his own artistic practice, he is a dedicated educator, sharing his knowledge by leading basket-weaving workshops for children.
