Lidia has been making tatting lace since 1982; she learned in courses organised by the Museum of Ethnography in Toruń that had undertaken to revive this traditional craft.  She makes various things – doilies, hats, collars as well as jewellery (bracelets, necklaces, earrings etc). She has been a member of Folk Artists’ Association since 2004. She has won many awards, including the Awards of the Marshal of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Vovoideship and awards in the contest  “A to Polska właśnie”(“This is Poland”) etc.
