Although Krzysztof’s ancestors were involved in woodwork, as both his father and grandfather were carpenters, Krzysztof was the first to focus on carving. As the 1980s came to an end, he began making his first forays into woodcarving. He makes his sculptures by hand, focusing on sacral or historical themes as well as genre scenes. His work has been honored, among other places, in Przysiek, in a contest for Christmas Nativity scenes, as well as in Innowrocław in the Contemporary Folk Art Contest. Aleksandra, his wife, is also an artisan.
