Jonas Bugailiškis has been woodcarving for a very long time. It’s a family tradition that he picked up from his father. Since 1980, he’s been taking part in exhibitions and fairs (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Denmark, Malaysia, Egypt, the USA, and others). He has received many awards from cultural institutions and won many local and international contests. He’s been a member of Folk Artists’ Association since 1981.
