Traditional Krzczonów apparel includes an intriguing element known as “zaścięg”. It’s a small ornament that often took the form of a brooch or a necklace that men wore under the collar and men under beaded necklaces worn for special occasions. Ignacy Wawrzycki revives the custom of making this piece.
