About 

Woodcarving, also known as snycerka, is a fascinating art form that involves creating intricate wooden decorations for homes. These beautifully carved elements can be found adorning windows, doors, balconies,porches, corners, and building facades.

During the workshop, the participants will explore the world of woocarving and the unique ornaments found in the Podlasie region. They will also delve into the history of wooden architecture and study old patterns. But that’s not all! The participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at this remarkable craft under the guidance of the instructor, Maciej Niewiński.

Instructor: Maciej Niewiński – Maciej is a graduate of the faculty of architecture in Białystok and has a deep passion for both traditional and environmentally friendly construction. He places great value on incorporating tradition into his work and advancing sustainable development.
