Cattail, also known as reed, is a highly durable, flexible, and decorative material with a rich history in basket weaving.  In this workshop, participants will explore its unique characteristics and learn fundamental plaiting and coiling techniques to create a beautiful and functional small basket for storing bread, fruit, or other items.
