Born in Pomerania, a cultural anthropologist by education from the Jagiellonian University, and a nomad by nature. Participant in expeditions to Polish, Ukrainian, Hungarian and Moldovan villages. Co-founder of the Jazgodki Band – the only Polish band whose programme is based around playing in the kitchen.

She collects and sings medieval and traditional songs, ballads and pieces, and writes her own music and lyrics (including the concert programmes Trubadurki, Ay, Vida, Pieśni Wędrowne and Kubek do Nalewania Snów).

She explores traditions of communal celebration and leads workshops on traditional dances and songs as well as natural voice singing for children and adults. She also conducts classes and workshops related to cultural diversity, including festive traditions – caroling and carnival masks, musical and theatrical forms of traditional caroling, musical carnival traditions, and calendar-year celebrations in different parts of the world.

Since 2008, she has been learning the art of storytelling and telling stories – fairy tales, folktales, true and imagined stories – to children and adults (in her own programmes and in cooperation with, among others, the Grupa Studnia O Association). She has performed, among others, at the International Storytelling Festival in Warsaw (“Opowieści z Cygańskiego Kapelusza” in 2011, Kubek do Nalewania Snów in 2012) and with a series of programmes for children as part of the Słowodaję Storytelling Meetings in Lublin.

She carries out various activities related to Roma culture, collects old Romani stories and songs, and collaborates with Romani musicians from different parts of Poland and Europe.

She works to promote intercultural dialogue and is the author of several projects focused on cultural education and intercultural dialogue (including “Zebra” in 2008, “Świat mieszka w Warszawie” in 2010, and “Opowiedz Sąsiedzie” in 2012).

She collaborates with, among others, the Teatr Węgajty Association, Ręką Dzieło Association, the Alcha Personal Development Centre, the Ethnographic Museum in Gdańsk, and the Dom Tańca Poznań Association.
