Józef Wyrwiński, hailing from Korzyce, leads the band with a musical legacy spanning four generations. Alongside his father, Adam (fiddle), and uncle, Antoni (pedal accordion), he honed his craft since the 1960s, performing at weddings, dances, and community celebrations throughout the region. Their ensemble became a cherished local institution. As the band’s lead player, Józef is a virtuoso on both the three-row and pedal accordion. He’s been at the helm since 2004. Marian Maj from Chustki provides steady rhythm on the baraban, Zofia Rafalska from Jagodne graced the band with her fiddle from 2014 to 2021, and Katarzyna Zedel seamlessly stepped into her role.
