A leading figure in the revival of Roztocze brass band music, Filip has founded and directs the Warsaw-Lublin Brass Band, dedicated to preserving and performing traditional repertoire. With the band, he has performed at over a hundred events, from lively dances and concerts to more experimental events.
A lifelong student of the genre, Filip has been an active member of Roztocze brass bands, including those from Zdziłowice, Zaburze, and Goraj. Passionate about sharing his knowledge, he has organised numerous events, workshops, and educational programmes to promote brass band tradition.He is also the co-founder and leader of the youth band Podróżniacy. Beyond his work in traditional music, Filip is a versatile musician. He co-founded the experimental band WCIAS, releasing four albums of innovative soundscapes blending folk, electronic, and alternative influences. As a skilled brass instrumentalist, he has performed with the Bonanza Dance Orchestra and is proficient in all brass instruments.
He serves as chairman of the Piszczałka Foundation and is an active member of the House of Dance Association. Holds a Master’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications.
