A violinist and singer, she draws in her musical work from the sources of traditional music and culture in which she was raised. She conducts research devoted to the performance of traditional singing (primarily ritual singing) in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. She makes field recordings and is involved in workshops and concert activities. She is the author of educational and artistic projects dedicated to intergenerational transmission, the reconstruction and promotion of Polish traditional music. She was a student of, among others, violinist Jan Gaca from Przystałowice Małe (from 2000 to 2013).

A lover of old rural wedding singing, in which there is no room for singing “half-heartedly” – she has been learning this tradition from village singers in Poland, Ukraine and Belarus since 1999. She shares this experience during workshops, which she has been leading since 2004. Member of musical groups and projects: Tęgie Chłopy, Z Lasu, Warszawa Wschodnia, Orkiestra Jarmarku Jagiellońskiego, MZK Toruń, Bujne Ziele, PoMore TanzOrkiestra. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2006, 2014, 2018). PhD in humanities.
