Anna Kaźmierak – author of unconventionally illustrated children’s books about Polish folk culture. Her ethnographic debut was “Elementarz tradycji Regionu Kozła” – a doodle workbook about bagpipes and glass negatives, written together with the TRES Foundation. “Turonie, żandary, herody”, created by her and published by Wydawnictwo Dwie Siostry, was recognised by the Polish Section of IBBY as the Best Graphic Book of the Year 2020.
