Biele and fie.dronowicz are two projects rooted in the music of the Suwałki region.
During the concert, songs, melodies, and sounds drawn from local tradition will meet electronics, samplers, and contemporary rhythmic forms. Both projects draw from the same soundscape – archival recordings, accounts from local residents, and their own experiences connected with this place – while using different means of artistic expression.
These are two ways of telling the story of the same landscape and listening to it – rooted in tradition, yet created here and now. This is not an outside perspective, but music created in the place it grows from and to which it constantly returns.
