The band performs traditional music from the Biskupizna micro-region in Wielkopolska. They regularly play for the Biskupizna Folklore Ensemble from Domachowo and Surroundings and are the direct successors of the bagpipers from earlier generations who once performed with the group. The band appears at many festivals and cultural events, and provides music for traditional Biskupizna dance parties, such as Katarzynki (St. Catherine’s Day celebrations) and Podkoziołek (Shrovetide festivities). They have received awards at events including: the Folk Music Competition in Kopanica, the National Festival of Folk Bands and Singers in Kazimierz Dolny, the “Old Tradition” Competition in Warsaw, and the Tournament of Wielkopolska Bagpipers in Kościan, among others.
