Marianna Poduch has revived the traditional art of cattail plaiting, a skill once passed down through her husband’s family. Working alongside her daughter Katarzyna, she creates a variety of handmade items including bags, placemats, and baskets. Using time-honoured techniques and wooden forms, Marianna meticulously weaves each piece using locally sourced cattail. She is actively involved in preserving local crafts as a member of the LGD Zielony Pierścień and the Folk Artists’ Club in Puławy.
