Beekeeping
POL,
Lublin
Zenon Lewczuk is a passionate beekeeper with a lifetime dedicated to his craft. As he puts it,
“My fascination with bees began at a young age. As a teenager, I captured a bee swarm and with my parents’ support, started my first hive. This marked the beginning of my lifelong journey as a beekeeper.” Over the years, my apiary has thrived in the unspoiled forests of the Lublin region, far removed from the distractions of modern life. This idyllic environment is perfect for producing exceptional honey and other bee-derived products. My apiary consists of 79 hives strategically placed across three forest locations. With the invaluable assistance of my wife, I manage Warsaw-type, Dadant, and large Polish hives. To create a diverse honey selection, I relocate my bee colonies to various floral landscapes throughout the summer. My dedication to beekeeping excellence has been acknowledged with the esteemed title of Master Beekeeper, conferred upon me by the Voivodeship Beekeepers’ Association following rigorous examinations. Moreover, my apiary operates under strict veterinary control, ensuring the purity and safety of my products.”
At his market stall, visitors can discover a delightful range of honeys including rapeseed, multifloral, forest, acacia, linden, buckwheat, and goldenrod. Complementing these sweet treasures are bee bread, propolis, and beeswa
