Lubartów Pick-up Sticks Workshop | REGISTRATION OPENS ON 12 AUGUST 2024
Over a century ago, the people of Lubartów had a unique way of playing a game called “bierki” (pick-up sticks). Instead of the sticks we’re used to, this skill-based game involved throwing and catching distinctive wooden pieces shaped like everyday objects. Picture tiny tools, decorative columns, or even sheep tags! We’ve brought this forgotten game back to life for the Festival.
