Alla Kovalchuk is not only a singer but also a researcher. She is a keeper of the living singing traditions from the village of Svarytsevychi, which she learned directly from her family. She has performed at concerts and festivals in various countries, including Austria, Belarus, Italy, Macedonia, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic, with her family ensemble Chudinovych from Svaritsevo, as well as folk groups Horyna and Rankova Rosa. In addition to her performances, Alla Kovalchuk has extensive experience in teaching traditional singing. For over 20 years, she has been leading the children’s group Rankova Rosa, which focuses on traditional folk songs, domestic dances, games, and parts of Polesie’s Rovno rituals.
