    In keeping with family tradition, Volha Starovoytava specialises in embroidery and makes traditional gloves from wool, decorating them with patterns taken from Belarusian traditional costumes. She is a member of The Belarusian Folk Artists’ Association. She runs workshops and regularly takes part in exhibitions and fairs organised by the Students’ Ethnographic Association in Minsk.
