Mirosława is a master of the intricate Łowicz paper cutting tradition. Her artistic journey began at the age of ten, and just five years later, she was already captivating audiences with her talent at local competitions. This cherished craft was passed down through generations, with Mirosława learning from her mother, Felicja Kaźmierczak – whose works grace the halls of the Łowicz Museum – and her aunt, Marianna.

While modern artists employ a variety of scissors for this delicate art form, Mirosława maintains a connection to the past by using traditional sheep shearing scissors. Her hands, guided by generations of knowledge, transform vibrant paper into meticulous compositions.

At her stall, visitors will discover the full spectrum of Łowicz paper cut-outs, from classic stars and geometric kodra patterns to whimsical ribbons. Mirosława’s artistic talent extends beyond flat designs, as evidenced by her exquisite papercut decorations on Easter eggs and jugs. She also creates festive paper chains and ornaments for Christmas, adding a touch of magic to the holiday season. Demonstrating the practical side of her craft, Mirosława also offers charming paper curtains, known as zazdrostki (cafe curtains).

A proud member of Folk Artists’ Association, Mirosława is dedicated to preserving and enriching the cultural heritage of the Łowicz region, particularly the Kocierzew micro-region.
