Tomasz Krajewski is a folk artist from the Lublin region whose work centers on the intricate creation of traditional paj\u0105ki<\/b> (straw and paper chandeliers). His artistic practice, shared with his wife, Ma\u0142gorzata Majewicz-Krajewska, also includes crafting straw stars, holiday ornaments, hand-carved wooden bowls, and batik-style Easter eggs (pisanki<\/i>).<\/p>\n
The couple\u2019s work is deeply rooted in heritage; they draw their patterns from ancestral traditions, the memories of the oldest residents in their community, ethnographic literature, and an ongoing collaboration with the National Museum in Lublin. Both are members of the Association of Folk Artists<\/b>. In 2017, their dedication to preserving regional culture was honored with a Diploma of Recognition from the Board of the Lublin Voivodeship.<\/p>\n
