She took her first lessons from her mother, but she has learned composition and the technique of Kujawy embroidery from Maria Patyk, a distinguished embroiderer from Innowroc\u0142aw. The patterns she uses are based on the ones she received from her teacher and those collected from museums in Toru\u0144, W\u0142oc\u0142awek and Innowroc\u0142aw. Ma\u0142gorzata also makes pysanky and crepe paper flowers.&nbsp; Every year since 1999, Ma\u0142gorzata has been receiving the award of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodeship for her folk art. She has over 50 awards and distinctions for her embroidery and pysanky.
