Using a variety of artistic techniques, we will create a personal patchwork made, for example, from archival family photographs, scraps of fabric and colorful threads.<\/p>\n<p>We encourage you to bring copies of family photographs that can be used during the workshop. We will provide all other materials needed to make the patchwork.<\/p>\n<h2>About the instructor<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Jagoda Valkov<\/strong> \u2013 studied landscape architecture at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, and stage and exhibition design at the Academy of Fine Arts. She completed the DOK PRO documentary course at the Wajda School in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a and took part in the Sputnik Photos collective\u2019s mentoring program. She is also a graduate of the Academy of Photography in Warsaw. We will discover how important and fascinating it is to create our own family archives, how creatively the materials we gather can be used, and what values can be discovered by immersing ourselves in folk games or songs.
