During our dance parties, the dance floor in front of the main stage will come alive with melodies from different regions of Poland. Meet the bands performing on Friday night \u2013 they\u2019ll make it impossible to stand still!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first to take the stage will be <strong>Rodzinna Orkiestra Burdalskich<\/strong>, performing and singing music from north-eastern Poland, including the traditions of the indigenous inhabitants of Warmia and Masuria, communities resettled there after World War II, as well as the Suwa\u0142ki and Podlasie regions. The orchestra is made up of the parents (Marta and Robert) and their three children (Gabriela, Filip and Adam).<\/p>\n<p>Next, <strong>Kapela Fedak\u00f3w<\/strong> will invite everyone onto the dance floor with Silesian melodies and original compositions inspired by tradition. The family is not only dedicated to performing but also to promoting the folklore of Silesia through workshops and dance parties. Alongside Iga and Kuba Fedak, the audience will also hear violinist Maria St\u0119pie\u0144.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kapela Murchole<\/strong> will make its debut at the Re:tradition festival. This intriguing name comes from a word once used in the Kujawy and Pa\u0142uki regions to describe the inhabitants of Pozna\u0144. The musicians who make up the band (Maciej Filipczuk, Kacper M. Nowak, Marcin Sawi\u0144ski and Ewa Szymczak) draw on archival recordings of local bands led by Jan Boruch from S\u0142upy, Antoni B\u0105k from \u017bu\u017co\u0142y, and Szczepan Nowicki and Stanis\u0142aw Nowak from Kcynia. Their goal is to rediscover the key to the forgotten musical traditions of the Pa\u0142uki region.<\/p>\n<p>The evening of dancing will conclude with <strong>Kapela Niwi\u0144skich<\/strong>, featuring Mateusz and Agnieszka Niwi\u0144scy alongside Jakub Mielcarek. Their repertoire includes melodies from the Radom region, Forest Mazovia and the Sanniki region.
