As part of \u201cZapl\u0105tane opowie\u015bci\u201d, we will discover two stories \u2013 \u201cO ma\u0142ym nietoperzu\u201d and \u201cO kr\u00f3lewnie na wie\u017cy zamkni\u0119tej\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The performance is created in the convention of string storytelling, a form rooted in oral traditions found in many cultures around the world. The storyteller illustrates the story using string figures and tricks woven before the audience\u2019s eyes. The listener\u2019s mind and sensitivity become part of an extraordinary play of imagination \u2013 words, gestures, and shapes intertwine and then disappear. With the help of one simple loop, a rich world of stories is created \u2013 a cave full of bats, a kidnapped princess and a sorcerer\u2019s cauldron, a clever lizard and a snake hunting it.<\/p>\n<p>Teatrzyk Raz-dwa-trzyk creates performances with live music played on traditional instruments by female musicians. The performances include fragments of traditional songs and children\u2019s musical games, allowing children to actively participate through singing together and repeating gestures. The youngest audiences have the opportunity to discover the sounds of traditional instruments: accordion, ocarina, baraban, frame drum, violin, and others. String stories are also richly illustrated with sounds created using clay birds, whistles, clappers, bells, and a rain stick.
