Teatr Echa creates musical, interactive fairy tales using instruments like cymbaloms,\u00a0 violins, zither, accordion, flutes, oud lute, duduk, drums, ocarina, and more. They draw inspiration from ancient traditional fairy tales, weaving their own stories with sounds and words<\/span>.<\/b><\/p>\n\n

Katarzyna \u017bytomirska<\/b> is a storyteller, writer, singer, actress, animator, scriptwriter, and ethnographer. She is the author of ethnographic-magical tales like “Opowie\u015bci roztocza\u0144skie” (Tales from Roztocze) and “O kogutku, co umia\u0142 dzia\u0142a\u0107 do skutku” (\u201cAbout a cockerel who keeps trying until it succeeds\u201d)\u00a0 and various musical performances for children.. She received three scholarships from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in the fields of animation, fairy tales, and folk culture. She is the founder of Teatr Echa.<\/span> \n \nwww.zytomirska.pl<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Piotr Pardela<\/strong> is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, photographer, filmmaker, and set designer. He creates performances and conducts music workshops for young children. He is also a father of four. Currently, he is working on musical and theatrical projects. He has co-founded the itinerant theatre Teatr Echa with Katarzyna \u017bytomirska. They travel and present musical fairy tales across the country. Piotr creates and performs music for theatre and film. He is a member of musical bands like “Muzyko Graj”, “Wsp\u00f3lna Droga”, “Sen Motyla”, playing instruments like the guitar, flutes, duduk, clarinet, accordion, cymbals, cytra, and oud lute. He has also founded the groups “Ogie\u0144 z Wody” and “Echa dla dzieci.”<\/p>\n\n

Marijka \u0141ubjancewa<\/strong>, born in Kyiv, is a multi-talented individual. She is an actress, singer, dancer, and instrumentalist proficient in the violin, piano, accordion, and sopilka. Additionally, she is a music therapist and sociocultural animator. Marijka completed her education at the Music School in Kyiv (1st level), Collegium Wratislaviense School of Tutors, Academy of Social Skills, and Academy of Intercultural Mentors. Marijka has conducted research projects and expeditions focused on musical and ritual traditions in Belarus, Ukraine, Macedonia, and the borderlands of Poland. From 1993 to 2012, she worked as an actress at Teatr W\u0119gajty. She has also collaborated with Teatr Remus since 2003 and Teatr Scena Lubelska 30\/32 since 2006. Marijka is a co-author of performances involving immigrant youth and sociocultural animation projects for refugee children, conducted by the Culture Practitioners Association. She actively works with theatre and music groups that include children from Poland and refugees from Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Chechnya, and Ukraine. In collaboration with the Refugee.pl Foundation, Marijka managed a kindergarten and community centre for refugees in D\u0119baki from 2016 to 2017. Since 2017, she has been working as a music therapist at the Community House of Self-Help, which is part of the Otwarte Drzwi Association. Currently, Marijka is involved in the implementation of the project “Protecting children, including children without care seeking asylum, from violence” in refugee centres.
