Vasyl Savich is a retired drawing teacher. He comes from Bogdanovka, a town in  Luninets region, Brest oblast. He has been specialising in ceramics since he was a child. It’s a family tradition he picked up mainly from his grandfather. He makes clay figurines – whistles in zoomorphic shapes. He teaches his skills to children and teenagers. Not only that, but he’s also a member of a folk artist association gathering artisans from the Brest oblast. Furthermore, he’s taken part in many folk craft exhibitions and contests.
