Traditional Ukrainian children’s games and activities | no age limits
About
In Re:tradition’s Playground, we will have the pleasure of meeting the Rankova Rosa ensemble from Rivne. This talented group of children and young people will introduce us to the wonderful world of traditional Ukrainian games and activities. Rankova Rosa was established in 2001 by Yuriy and Alla Kovalchuk at School No. 28 in Rivne, Ukraine. The leaders of the ensemble are dedicated to helping the young members explore and appreciate the rich heritage of their region’s traditional culture.
The ensemble’s performances showcase a diverse repertoire, including traditional folk songs, ancient dances, and games. They also incorporate parts of unique rituals that are specific to the Rivne Polesie region.
