The Jagiellonian Fair
The Jagiellonian Fair, a vibrant three-day fair that forms the cornerstone of the Re:tradition Festival, celebrates folk art and traditional crafts. This event invites you to explore the rich heritage of various regions across Poland, as well as Lithuania, Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and this year, even India.
As always, the fair will be brimming with traditional weaving, decorated eggs, paper flowers, straw ornaments, toys, basketry, pottery, and sculptures. The festival provides a unique opportunity not only to admire and purchase exceptional folk art but also to witness the meticulous craftsmanship of our invited artisans.
Many of these talented creators will host demonstrations, showcasing the intricate processes behind their work. Some will even become teachers during the festival, giving you the chance to try your hand at these traditional crafts under their expert guidance.
